Mammography, ultrasound, and MRI are designed primarily to identify structural changes within breast tissue. Thermography evaluates physiology by measuring patterns of heat distribution, circulation, and thermal symmetry at the surface of the breasts.
These technologies provide different types of information. Thermography does not replace traditional breast imaging, but it can complement it by helping you observe physiological patterns and monitor whether those patterns remain stable, improve, or change over time.

2. Complete Your Thermogram
During this 60-minute appointment, your certified thermographer will capture a series of contactless infrared images with no radiation, injections, or breast compression.
3. Understand Your Results
Your images will be professionally interpreted, and you will receive a detailed report, a personal explanation of your findings, and clear recommendations for your next steps.

Advanced Technology
We use a high-resolution medical infrared camera designed to measure subtle temperature patterns at the surface of the body. The procedure is contactless, radiation-free, and requires no breast compression. For most women, the experience is similar to having a series of photographs taken.
Expert Interpretation
Your images are interpreted by a board-certified thermologist with more than three decades of experience in medical thermal imaging. You will receive a comprehensive written report explaining your thermal findings and recommended follow-up interval.
Comprehensive Guidance
Your results are typically available within two weeks. Dr. Blake will provide a recorded review of your findings, explain what they mean, answer common questions, and make sure you understand any recommended next steps. When appropriate, those steps may include a comparison thermogram, consultation with your healthcare provider, or structural breast imaging.
